Short version: We’ve got your back
Our goal is helping you drinking enough water during your day - not to track you! We want the least information possible from you, unless you contact us yourself.
Thirstic does not send any health or activity data to remote servers. All health-related data processing is performed and stored on your device. If you enable weather forecasts in the app settings, we need to send your approximate location to our weather data provider Apple Weather. Anonymized data about your in-app purchases and basic app usage information is send to our purchase validation service RevenueCat.

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Thirstic’s website and our apps for iPhone and any other devices and platforms. By using our services and apps, you consent to this privacy policy.
Information we collect
We do not collect any sensitive health or activity data. All health-related data processing is performed and stored on your device.
If you decide to enable weather forecasts in the app settings, we need to send your approximate location to our weather data provider [Apple Weather]https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/weather/) in order to download daily weather forecasts.
Anonymized data about the your in-app purchases and basic app usage information is send to our purchase validation service RevenueCat.
The mentioned information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located.
Analytics
Anonymized app usage information is send to our purchase validation service RevenueCat, for the solely purpose to validate your purchases and unlock premium features and identify potential app problems. No other third-party analytics service is included in the app.
If you have opted-in to share anonymized information with app developers in the iOS settings, we will receive anonymized usage statistics from Apple.
Information usage
We use the anonymized information we collect to operate our apps and customer support. We do not share any information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Thirstic’s functionality.
We may disclose the information we have in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
Security
Your water intake is securely stored in Apple’s encrypted Health app and your intake goal is estimated and stored within Thirstic on your device.
